As the Marketing and Design Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies and initiatives. You will work closely with the marketing manager to ensure effective implementation of marketing plans and programs, with a focus on designing and creating visually appealing marketing materials that align with the company's brand, across many platforms as well as creating training presentations and document creation to be used by internal sales teams.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of marketing plans and campaigns, including social media, email, digital, and print marketing
- Design and create visually appealing marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, social media graphics, and email campaigns, that align with the company's brand
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing channels
- Manage marketing databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer information is maintained
- Support the coordination of events and trade shows to promote the brand
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and provide insights to the marketing team to help inform marketing strategies and tactics
- Maintain website content and images and update information and rates as needed, making sure it is as accurate as possible.
- Sourcing of images for training presentations, social media as well as trade show stand graphics.
- General Marketing department assistance with day to day running, stock management and sourcing.
Qualifications:
- Junior / Mid-level candidate with qualification in marketing, design or related field
- Experience in a marketing role, preferably in the travel industry
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, gimp or any other related software
- Experience with WordPress, Mailchimp, and PowerPoint or any other presentation software is a plus
