About the role
This is an entry-level permanent role and an opportunity for a fresh graduate to join us at the start of 2023 to undergo an intense training program that’s focused on practical real-world skills. You’ll become a sales development expert, and will learn how tech companies grow. You will also have a clear progression path where you can move into a management role within 2 years.
When you join you’ll be assigned to a team that’s supporting one of our SaaS or FinTech clients.
What you'll be responsible for
- Researching to identify the right people and accounts to target
- Reaching out to these prospects across phone, email, and LinkedIn, and engaging them to the point where they set up an initial discovery meeting/demo of the product
- Joining demos with prospects
- From the market feedback generated, you will get to contribute to the tactics and strategy of the campaigns they are involved in
Requirements
You'll be a great fit for this role if you meet the following requirements:
- University degree
- Experience in a customer facing role (ideally something sales related) either during or following your studies
- Strong interest in tech and startups
- Strong interest in sales, marketing, and how companies grow
- High levels of energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Based in Cape Town, or can easily relocate
- South African Citizen
