Job Description

Dentons is currently recruiting an Interim Trainer to support the implementation of the Global Finance Transformation (GFT) Program. This position falls within the People work stream and will report to the Interim Global Finance Transformation Finance Training Lead. You will work closely with Global Process Leads, regional implementation and change teams as well as key business stakeholders.

This position will be responsible for developing, delivering, and supporting the training solution for Finance (and other Business Services) representatives and working within a team of trainers to ensure a consistent approach and user experience is delivered.

As a global team we are responsible for the creation of a framework of core training content which the regional training teams will adapt to their regional needs and deliver as per their own regional implementation schedules. This position will be part of a small team of trainers who will create material and deliver a regional train the trainer program, to ensure successful training for all aspects of the new solution, both processes and systems, in readiness for end users to adopt the functionality associated with the new practice management system of 3E.

The finance transformation program is a truly global program designed to transform Dentons' finance function into the business partnering function of the future. It will support the business by offering true business insight, efficient and effective processes while maintaining the necessary compliance and controls

Key Responsibilities

  • Content creation Build a framework of process led core systems training content
  • Global Delivery Deliver training through a blended approach (e.g. Face to Face, Webinar, Online Learning)
  • Support the Interim Global Finance Transformation Finance Training Lead with:
    • Risk and Issue Management: identify risks and issues and escalate to the Global Finance Transformation Finance Training Lead as appropriate to minimise impact to the Program. Report on qualitative and quantitative metrics about training.
  • Stakeholder collaboration collaboratewith key stakeholders and stakeholder groups to ensure that the training solution meets the needs of the regional teams to enable them to deliver training within their regional implementations of 3E.
  • Preparation of training frameworks deliver all training activities to support SIT, UAT and Train the Trainer in line with program timelines. Deliver and support refresher training as required.
  • Post implementation assessment: develop post implementation reviews to assess the success of the training effort and enable enhancements to be identified for subsequent rollouts and projects within the Global Finance Transformation program.

Key Deliverables

  • Creation of global training materials for the 3E implementation (including any early benefit projects)
  • Creation of a global training toolkit (Quick reference guides/e-learning etc)
  • Creation of train the trainer courses
  • Delivery of train the trainer to regional training teams
  • Support regional training teams to deliver end user training
  • Support business engagement activities where required e.g. system demonstrations or change network training
