Nomanini, founded in 2011, is a pioneering fintech company that provides informal retail merchants with access to digital payment solutions and credit to improve their business. Our platform provides interoperable retail payments and supply chain financing by combining new digital financial services with existing distribution networks.

Nomanini currently has 25+ staff and is growing 500% year-on-year, expecting to continue scaling up at this rate for the next 3-5 years.

This role reports to the CEO and is part of our Executive Committee.

Requirements

The Head of Operations will help shape and oversee the systems, processes and people necessary to underpin the business operations and deliver to the business strategy.

The Head of Operations is responsible for ensuring the business delivers on its promises to clients, particularly its core banking client, including uptime and customer feedback. The Head of Operations is responsible for creating operations and structures supporting the day-to-day delivery of Nomanini's products and services.

The Head of Operations is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the company strategy across business operations, human capital and administration.


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

1. Implementation-Focused Stakeholder Management

  • Support effective management of stakeholder and business relationships through relationship building, networking and reporting activities.
  • Identify and proactively manage external factors impacting on the organisation.
  • Monitor business best practices internally and externally and motivate the implementation of appropriate practices across all functions.
  • Ensure that operating practices are aligned to changing stakeholder needs.
  • Ensure that Nomanini is adhering to the strategic plan, delivering quarterly status reports.
  • Advise members of senior management on planning, priorities, and policy matters.


2. Project Implementation, Closure, and support

  • Create alignment and visibility to enable operational execution and delivery. Apply best practices in the delivery of the projects.
  • Ensure effective and efficient delivery of projects. Identify and proactively manage internal and external factors impacting on the projects.
  • Ensure relevant governance structure in place.
  • Plan all operational requirements by prioritising customer, employee, and organisational needs.
  • Summarise and visualise plans and goals to create transparency across all teams.
  • Embed agile principles across teams and provide ongoing support.
  • Create, improve and communicate metrics, including internal delivery SLAs, for business


3. Organizational processes and procedures

  • Ensure that system requirements are mapped continuously against business, operational and project information needs.
  • Ensure that current systems, policies, processes and procedures are reviewed to determine their effectiveness and applicability.
  • Support the implementation of an integrated performance management strategy and process.
  • Support the development, sourcing and improvement of effective systems to address business needs.
  • Compile accurate reports to show an accurate representation of the organisation’s performance.

  • Business/STEM degree
  • Post graduate qualification in Management will be an advan
