Job Description

The Faircape Group has a vacancy for a Marketing Manager to assist in the execution of marketing strategy, plans, briefs, campaigns and output across the group as well as champion specific business units within Faircape.


Within the Faircape Marketing Department, the marketing managers and the design team produce the creative output for all in-house departments and business units .The business units concerned consist of various and diverse businesses, all in the technology field. An interest in technology would be an advantage.


The successful candidate needs to be able to schedule and optimize the required output to ensure that deadlines are met and all agreed marketing plans have been executed for the relevant business unit/department.


The marketing manager will be responsible for the coordination of production in sourcing quotes, arranging campaign collateral and ensuring timelines are managed and communicated.


In addition to the above, the candidate will be required to add creative input, assist in managing WordPress updates, upkeep websites with relevant information, content marketing via blogs and social media campaigns, SEO as well as being the point of contact for certain business units.


The opportunity for growth is extensive within the Group - the candidate needs to be passionate about marketing and inspired by growth.

Specific duties include, but is not limited to:

General/:

  • Schedule and coordinate all tasks that require the attention
  • Create timing plans and manage output according to resource capacity - when outsourcing is required, quote are to be sourced based on requirements
  • Manage and assist in setting up artwork, print material and output of weekly tasks
  • Review output of all marketing material that is produced - ensuring that the CI Guide for each business unit and brief have been adhered to
  • Communicate between business units


Marketing:

  • Develop marketing plans for each business unit and the ability to execute the plan
  • Manage the monthly internal mailer
  • Identify cross selling opportunities across the Group
  • Be involved in the execution of marketing campaigns and projects, considering the business objectives, budget and overall integration of communication channels and collateral.
  • The marketing manager will be the primary point of contact for specific business units within the Group - receiving, interpreting and managing briefs from start to finish
  • Create and manage sourcing, quoting and the production of marketing collateral - including: business cards, sales packs/brochures, corporate gifting


CRM:

  • Understanding CRM tools and the functionalities thereof
  • Ability to set up CRM campaigns, setting up thereof, reporting and gaining insights .
  • Produce Email campaigns and monitor results
  • Respond to and manage internal queries


Marketing Channels:

  • Manage direct marketing activities in the form of flyer drops - including tracking and reporting.
  • Manage promotions and activations - including tracking and reporting


Tracking and Reporting:

  • Interpret objectives and share reports on a weekly/monthly basis (depending on project and manager’s requirements)


Digital marketing

  • Drive awareness and sales across digital media channels
  • Understand and implement; Google analytics, Google adwords, PPC and SEO and how it contributes to grow a sales
  • Create social media content across digital channels
  • Upload Facebook/social media creative as monitoring and responding to queries or questions

Requirements

Experience and Knowledge
  • 3 - 5 years relevant experience

Benefits

With centrally located modern offices just across from Cavendish in Claremont, Faircape offers a market related salary from R 40 000.00 Cost to Company per month.
