Job Description

At Jellyfish, the People team is made up of 4 key areas; People Partnering, Learning and Development, Recruitment and Operations. Each area supports specific cohorts in the business across a variety of areas, with the vision of leveraging our skills, confidence and enhancing our own superpowers. All of this empowers us to contribute to maintaining a sustainable organisation for our people to learn, grow, and excel.


This is an entry level role within the Learning and Development group of the team, where you will be responsible for:

  • Onboarding our Jellyfish new starters and ensuring they all have a consistent experience from the point of welcome, to assigning them with all the relevant information, training schedules and learning material
  • Registering new starters to our Learning platform and ensuring their Learning experience is supported for any queries they may have throughout
  • Working on eLearning content and uploading relevant material and updating information on the platform to reflect business changes
  • Building strong relationships at all levels and, as you learn our processes, becoming the ‘go to person’ for all day-to-day Learning admin enquiries and requests.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and improve efficiencies
  • Preparing the Business case process, collating feedback and supporting the analysis and data reporting for this unique promotion scheme we have at Jellyfish
  • Managing the coordination of our certification programmes we have with our partners at Google , Amazon, Facebook and more!!!
  • Managing administration for all elements of the Learning and Development life cycle including preparing new starters inductions, coordinating training and helping with their ongoing career development at Jellyfish
  • Supporting Business initiatives, our one Jellyfish academy,Mergers and acquisitions, steering groups and international projects
  • Supporting Jellyfish’s local programmes for topics such as Mental health, South Africa’s equity programmes, Positive workplace programmes and so much more!!!
  • Supporting the Learning project owners to create content for their workshops. Materials such as workbooks,handouts, Presentation Decks and engaging Activity sheets to support the learners experience
  • Promoting initiatives and workshops the team deliver, establishing relationships in the business and rolling out communications utilising the different platforms we have for promotion at Jellyfish
  • Creating surveys to collate data to support Learning metrics and areas of improvement
  • You will also be responsible for helping to communicate and promote the company benefits and new initiatives with information in our weekly newsletters!
