The role of our Champion:

  • Understanding ongoing hiring needs and establishing the right sourcing mix in order to generate a strong pool of talent for our vacant roles
  • Provide input into building an attraction strategy and interview process
  • Draft amp; publish attractive job advertisements and manage responses
  • Reach out to targeted talent via social networks and build authentic relationships, stories, and magic
  • Design amp; conduct engaging talent outreach campaigns that attracts candidates who in turn inspire further candidates to engage
  • Measure and report on hiring metrics (e.g. time-to-fill, source-of-hire, etc.)
  • Developing a network comprising of industry professionals and potential candidates
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify each position’s requirements and ensure this knowledge is made transparent to the team
  • Enable various sourcing strategies like referrals, talent pooling and external attraction projects
  • Be a brand ambassador, ensuring all candidates have a positive candidate experience in their journey with us
  • Stay on a learning journey through measuring the results of the candidates experiences for continuous improvement
  • Provide new ways of improving the talent sourcing functionality through innovation and automation

Requirements

Our Champion's journey thus far:

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Min 2 - 3 years experience in technical IT recruitment
  • Start-up and/or agency technical sourcing experience
  • Strong knowledge of various sourcing tools amp; methodologies
  • Working with local and international sourcing of talent
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems such as Workable, Greenhouse, etc
  • Experience in managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and stakeholder relationships
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen interest in the technology industry and leading companies
