Are you obsessive about transforming and optimizing Digital Channels? Our marketing landscape continually shift through different complexities, we are looking for a Growth Marketing Director to navigate and evolve our strategy to set the pace along world class practice. You need to be thought leader and drive our acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention strategy. Collaboration is key to deliver high performance and therefore you will be partnering with our teams from Sales through to Product. Cape Town will be your home and our Chief Marketing Officer based in San Francisco will be leading your journey.

The role of our Champion:

  • Grow, lead and manage a high performing growth marketing team.
  • Build and track sales forecasts for SaaS sales and drive campaigns to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Be responsible for and execute on the campaign calendars to ensure email, social and web content is delivered on time, brand and message.
  • Manage Conversion rate optimization (CRO) team and projects to increase the percentage of users who engage, sign up, and purchase.
  • Manage internal and external people resources, budgets and deliverables for website, SEO, email and social channels.

Plan and manage quarterly and annual budgets for your department.

  • Provide detailed reporting on lead acquisition, demand generation, engagement and retention across channels and product lines.
  • Maintain and optimize the Clickatell website and other online touch points to highlight our brand, product offerings, marketing initiatives, events and thought leadership.
  • Design, implement and execute on the strategy for SEM/Paid Search (PPC), Display, SEO, Email amp; Social Media
  • Collaborate with Clickatell stake holders on webinars, events/field marketing, content creation (blog, eBooks, guides, reports) and third-party programs as called upon.
  • Be curious, research and experiment with new and/or underused channels to reach prospective Clickatell customers globally.
  • Be the subject matter expert on digital tools and techniques to accomplish business objectives per department KPIs.
  • Set ambitious objectives for your team and help them succeed in achieving their key results.
  • Providing hands-on management and serves as the hub for the planning, building, running, measurement and optimization of digital marketing plans and revenue

Our Champion's journey thus far:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Director or Head Digital Marketing role or equivalent leading/managing channel/demand generation focused marketing teams
  • BA/BSc in marketing, business, or related field preferred
  • Excellent grasp of marketing automation, email, social marketing, website metrics, digital analytics strategies and best practices
  • Proven experience with Marketing automation tools (e.g, Hubspot, Marketo), Salesforce CRM, email marketing automation tools
  • Experience in B2B digital marketing at a SaaS/technology company is a huge plus
