About the role
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about data and delivering insights. Leadhome has an open policy when it comes to sharing data and information in the company. Every employee has access to PowerBI and uses data daily to make data-driven decisions. Therefore this role impacts every part of the business
You will be working as part of a small, cross-functional TPD (Tech/Product/Data) team, which includes software engineers, product designers and data analysts. Your stakeholders will include the executive team, operations, sales, marketing and product management.
What you’ll be doing
- SQL views and tables using DBT to be used for reporting and ad-hoc analysis
- Power BI datasets and reports based on business requirements
- Python scripts to extract data from google sheets, write data to google sheets and use API calls to retrieve and send data from 3rd party systems
- Machine learning models
- Provide analysis over multiple datasets to assist with decision making
- Implement new business rules that impact data and reports
- Provide support on data related queries to all teams within the company
- Apply software engineering best practice to our data environment (e.g. testing and version control)

Requirements
5+ years’ experience as a data analyst, data engineer or data scientist.
Required skills
- SQL experience (Knowledge of joins and window functions)
- Power BI - have experience with datasets and DAX
- Python - experience with data frames (using pandas) and basic machine learning packages
- Git
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) to manage data models
- Machine Learning amp; deploying models in production
