The position has the responsibility for researching solutions, troubleshooting bugs, and enhancing the functionality of Salesforce to meet business requirements. The role requires deep expertise in declarative (e.g. Formula Fields) amp; business process-oriented approaches to Salesforce customization, mastery of Salesforce Administration, expertise in CPQ, and a solid understanding of CRM concepts. Other responsibilities include configuring Products, Product amp; Approval Rules, Pricing Information, and in addition responding to tickets, functional amp; technical optimizations, and driving automation to increase efficiency in business processes.
Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities:
- Expertise in business concepts for CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote)
- Oversight of applications that are interconnected with CPQ Conga, DocuSign, Chargify, etc.
- Technical expertise in configuration and limitations of Salesforce CPQ
- Solve complex issues using troubleshooting methodologies combined with expert knowledge of Salesforce applications.
- Work closely with end-users to assess business requirements, support change and deliver a consistently high-quality customer experience.
- Formulate solutions for critical issues with Declarative Tools (Workflows, Approvals, Formulas, etc.).
- Setup Products in Salesforce CPQ for Quoting by configuring Product Options and Product Rules
- Setup Lookup Data with the Product Pricing information and conditionally populate prices using Price Rules for the Products being quoted in the Salesforce CPQ Quote Line Editor

Requirements
- 3+ years of Salesforce CPQ experience in a corporate environment with 2+ years of hands-on experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce CPQ issues.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills verbal amp; written. Ability to communicate at a business level with stakeholders and technical level with developers.
- Practical knowledge of usage of APIs to integrate Salesforce with other data sources.
- Deep knowledge of Declarative Approaches to Salesforce customization methodologies including Custom Objects, Relationships, Formulas, Validation Rules, and Process Automation.
- Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to work calmly and professionally in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work effectively from a home-based office in a virtual environment.
- Knowledge of Lightning LWC amp; Aura, VisualForce Pages, Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Custom Controllers, Controller Extensions, Batch Classes, Scheduler Classes
- Knowledge of Integrating applications with Salesforce Orgs
- Ability to execute unit tests and write Apex test classes for code coverage
- Deep experience in using development tools such as VS Code (for the source code editor, debugging, and deployment) and GIT (for source code and version control)
- Good functional configuration knowledge of Salesforce including but not limited to validation rules, workflows, Process builders, Flows, email alerts, field updates, custom labels, custom settings, profiles, and permission sets
- Knows how to deploy metadata (configuration and code) to different environments
- Knowledge of tools such as Data Loader for data export, backup, and migration between environments
- Knows how to develop Custom Report Types, Custom Reports meeting the reporting needs of the organization
- Has good temperament and communication skills for providing Project status, Knowledge Transfer, and Training to new Developers and Admins on Project
