Artificial intelligence will define the financial services sector within the next five years, but incumbent institutions cannot adopt artificial intelligence due to two core problems: access to quality data, and access to high-calibre talent. Tesserae is building the only full-stack artificial intelligence platform focused on the financial services industry. We’re a funded startup with a first client already in place, and now Tesserae is ready to redefine how banks implement AI.
Role Overview
Tesserae’s BizOps team moves fast to set the direction for our organisation and solve Tesserae’s toughest cross-functional problems. This is a rare opportunity to impact a fast-growing, funded, and high-potential startup, with high visibility into Tesserae’s Product, Engineering, Analytics, Operations, Business Development amp; Finance teams.
As a BizOps team member, you will be the primary point of contact for our leadership team on critical questions related to Tesserae’s near-term and long-term success. You will need to solve for multiple strategic priorities (i.e. growth, efficiency, and quality) and consider various stakeholders (internal and external). Each week will bring you a new set of projects and challenges, where success is measured by data-driven outcomes - you will have the satisfaction of seeing the results of your work and earning the gratitude of your peers while growing your career and learning the ins and outs of a cutting-edge tech startup.
As a BizOps Associate, you are the perfect mix of analytical, technical, and operational. You will collect, sanitise, analyse, and synthesise data; apply critical thinking amp; communications skills to make actionable recommendations; and drive those recommendations thru to execution. You are a clear, confident communicator who loves taking a complicated problem, breaking it down, and building a compelling business case.
About this Role
You'll help refine and execute Tesserae’s GTM strategy. You'll help drive company and product strategy as we change how financial services leverage AI. You'll help run the basics of our business - ensuring that various stakeholders have an amazing experience as they onboard onto our product and support them as they use our platform. Identify and triage key questions, issues, and roadblocks facing the company using your business acumen and experience. Conduct quantitative research and analysis requiring complex data retrieval that results in compelling recommendations for our leadership team. Collaborate on critical operational excellence projects, turning our strategic recommendations into reality. Serve as an important cross-functional liaison between Product, Engineering, Analytics, Operations, Business Development amp; Finance functions. You’ll interact with our clients on a daily basis - learning what problems they need to be solved. You’ll have to manage multiple projects at the same time, and with the support of our customers, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time with quality. You’ll have to build world-class training material and conduct training on our platform to ensure success for all teams.About You

  • A self-starter with the ability to quickly respond to problems independently.

Qualifications and Experience
  • 2-3 years of relevant business experience solving analytical problems.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • Financial Services experience would be an advantage.
