Job Description

Dentons is currently recruiting an Interim Global Finance Transformation Integration amp; Data Services Project Manager to support the delivery of a significant Global Finance Transformation (GFT) Program. This position will have a dual reporting line to the Global Implementation Technical Project Manager and to the Global Integration amp; Data Services Lead. The role will also interface with key stakeholders in the (GFT) Program team, in particular the GFT Implementation and Technical Delivery Team. The role will also interface regularly with the Regional Finance Transformation Project teams to ensure that Global and Regional Implementation objectives remain aligned.

The key objective of the role is to provide planning and management for the successful delivery of the GFT program; within agreed budget and program implementation timeframes.

As the Interim Global Finance Transformation Integration amp; Data Services Project Manager, you will drive the various Technical teams to deliver to agreed timelines and work with team leads to resolve impediments in achieving that goal. You will focus on the key deliverables and milestones as documented in project scope and planning documentation to ensure the project stays on track. Your primary responsibility will be working with the Global Integration amp; Data Services Lead and Global Implementation Technical Project Manager to deliver to a program plan that delivers the overall solution within agreed timelines and additionally keeping the GFT Program Leadership appraised of any foreseeable risks and issues that might arise.

Overall key Responsibilities
  • Plans and schedules project timelines.
  • Management of sprints in accordance with the DevOps framework, ensuring all ceremonies are in place and effective for collaborative global ways of working.
  • Coordinates project resources.
  • Assures the quality of projects.
  • Meets budgetary, timeline and scope objectives by managing the technical team’s deliverables to ensure they are delivered on time and to acceptable quality.
  • Project reporting; both from a sprint perspective and wider overall programme level view
  • Tracks project performance.
  • Works with program leads to maintain project management collateral e.g., Project Plans, RAID Logs
  • Facilitate meetings and workshop as required to meet delivery milestones
  • Develop/maintain the Integration amp; Data Services streams’ implementation plans and ensure alignment with global program plan
  • Track progress against plan, ensuring that the Integration amp; Data Services team provide timely updates to enable actionable status reporting to the Global Program Steering Committee
  • Track and manage RAIDs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies, Decisions) and reporting these to the right level for escalations and visibility
  • Advise Global Implementation Technical Project Manager and Global PMO on all activities on the critical path for implementation (i.e. in the Integration amp; Data Services plan), including resources required for specific activities
  • Provide team members task visibility using look ahead reports / in flight tasks and delayed tasks ensuring tight plan management
  • Working with and coaching the team members around DevOps Project Delivery methodology to maximise program success.
  • Assisting the Global Integration amp; Data Services Lead and Global Implementation Technical Project Manager in managing the Stage Gated approach to delivery within the Integration amp; Data Services streams
