The Production Manager will drive the overall strategy and execution for Pixelogic's English Services CFTs or Client Focused Teams. Managing and leading initiatives to ensure that all English deliverables meet the necessary requirements before they reach the client. They will manage and determine the allocation of resources within the English CFTs to drive on-time delivery (OTD) and right-the-first-time (RFT) initiatives. The production manager will be responsible for analysing the business needs of each team; including volume forecasting, recruitment, and training objectives, as well as core workflows and processes that bring standardisation, prevent process gaps, and help strengthen the English teams under their management structure. The production manager will ensure the supervisors, coordinators, and editors are meeting the goals that form part of the continuous improvement programs by driving cross-training and performance improvement.

• Editors are responsible for getting every word right, their attention and focus is measured by the second
• Coordinators are focused on the momentary tracking and delivery of projects on a per minute or hourly basis
• Supervisors are focused on the delivery of projects and their team members on a daily and weekly basis
• Production Managers are focused on the tracking of projects and team members on a weekly and monthly basis, driving medium-to-long-term initiatives to meet departmental and company goals

Requirements

• Manage the human and technical resources for each team by utilizing:
• Manage the development and maintenance of client specific Style Guides
• Manage the development and maintenance of Pixelogic’s Knowledge Base articles when gaps are identified
• Manage the performance of supervisors, editors and coordinators

• Manage the supervisors to meet client delivery and quality objectives
• Manage the delivery of VIP projects as the directly responsible individual (DRI)
• Attend and provide notes for weekly production meetings, particularly those that apply to your teams
• Manage the technical and workflow issues of English editors and coordinators, working closely with the developers to drive automation and quality improvement initiatives
• Attend CAR meetings as they pertain to your team
• Identify and develop LMS courses as part of the Continuous Improvement learning program
• Partner with other production managers to improve the overall performance of each team
  • Attend weekly meetings with production managers to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Meet to resolve capacity and skills challenges
• Attend meetings with the head of operations to drive both departmental and companywide operational initiatives
