Job Summary

A senior application support specialist working within the Information Systems department, maintaining day to day technical operations of the application suite.

Job Description

• Maintain day to day technical operations on business applications.
• Check Logs, determine errors and troubleshoot on a continuous basis.
• Responsible for running of batches and ensuring that all backups and restores are successful.
• Monitor, measure and tune application performance.

• A minimum of 2-3 years working experience in UNIX / Solaris script/ PL/SQL is critical
• A minimum of 3-5 years post qualification experience.
• Understanding of System Integration, interfaces, Batch scripts, day end batches is essential.
• Expertise on Log analysis, problem identification and resolution.
• Experience in supporting Weblogic applications.
• Understanding of Mutual Funds business process.
• Understanding of Sybase / Oracle databases.
• Person should be able to learn the business process quickly.
• Prior Experience on SunGard Application Suite (InvestOne, Decalog, Xamin,Flexcube) is preferable.
