RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Slitter Operator to join our client's manufacturing team. As a Slitter Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, operating and maintaining the slitting machine to ensure the efficient and accurate cutting of materials.

• Set up and operate slitting machine according to specifications
• Load and unload materials onto the machine
• Monitor the slitting process to ensure accurate and consistent cuts
• Perform regular quality checks to ensure product meets specifications
• Adjust machine settings as needed to achieve desired results
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the slitting machine
• Record production data and maintain accurate production logs
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Slitter Operator in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in operating and troubleshooting slitting machines
• Knowledge of different materials and their cutting characteristics
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
• Ability to read and interpret measurements and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work different shifts as required
