Hire Resolve is currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Johannesburg. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the frontend of web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate individual who is proficient in frontend technologies and has a strong understanding of user experience design principles. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the frontend of web applications using modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to implement user interfaces that are intuitive, functional, and visually appealing.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend development trends and technologies.
- Participate in the planning and estimation of frontend development tasks.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving frontend-related issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior frontend developers.
Requirements
- 4 years demonstrable experience (can be work, can be passion) in web front-end development
- Hands on experience creating semantically correct HTML5 markup
- Extensive experience with CSS, SASS or LESS
- Experience with Modern JavaScript (ECMA 6). Typescript cannot hurt.
- Integral knowledge of methods to accurately develop responsive UIs from designs (Figma, InVision, Adobe XD, ).
- Have knowledge of popular front-end frameworks but not be reliant on such.
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- Good to have:
- Implementing user tracking solutions: GTM, ATM,
- Knowledge of SEO principles related to UI development
- An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable or more with source control (Git)
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
