As Snr Management Accountant, you will be at the forefront of implementing new systems and processes to accountant for Nile’s new business initiatives. Through your work, we will be able to consolidate financial information across business units, enabling management to make better decisions.
The successful applicant will be responsible to:
- Consolidate and review of complex management accounts
- Implement new in-time reporting mechanisms to account for the various operating units
- Support our Head of finance on implementation of ERP system for new business units
- Planning of cashflow requirements across business divisions, including multi-currency disbursements
- Manage debtor and creditor functions
Requirements
- The individual needs to be CA or CIMA qualified
- Working experience as a financial accountant / financial manager, preferably at companies with high frequency of transactions
- Experienced in payment workflows, including debtor/creditor management
- Quick learner who is able to adapt to the complexity of a hyper growth start-up
- Good technical accounting skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Multi-tasker able to balance requests from multiple entities
