In light of our significant growth, we are reinvesting in our talented Product and Technology teams.

We are seeking a passionate Product Owner to join our expanding Product Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document new features, demonstrate the latest iteration of the product during reviews, record and react to feedback.
• Working closely with the scrum team to ensure all impediments and dependencies are identified, recorded.
• Collaborate with and manage communications with stakeholders.
• Understands the estimation process and participates in this process as required.
• Supports wider teams within the business understand new projects.
• Negotiating priorities with stakeholders ensuring high-value deliverables are identified and progressed to a high level of quality.
• Work with the marketing function to ensure coverage and awareness of the product is maximized.
• You own the backlog, driven from the Product roadmap, created by the Product Managers.
• You work closely with system architects and Product Managers to clearly describe business goals and customer requirements into product backlog items.
• Assess and review technical documentation and ensure the development team create appropriate levels of product documentation.
• Influence the direction of the department, responsible for supporting engineering teams to deliver work.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Product Designers, Marketing, and Data teams to clarify and document product requirements.
• Support the scrum delivery teams by crafting actionable user stories from Product Requirements (incl. Gherkin scenarios and acceptance criteria).
• Contribute to ideation, planning, and design sessions.
• Align your work with organisational objectives to fulfil the overarching product strategy.

Requirements

Essentials

• Excellent knowledge of agile scrum methodology and practices
• Ability to take ownership and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner
• Adaptive and strong team player
• Excellent time management skills.
• Somebody who’s comfortable getting into a detailed technical discussion with our team of software developers.

• Experience in supporting teams that handle large data sets.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and maintain velocity by removing blockers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience executing product discovery and supporting user research.
• Understanding of conversion rate optimisation and A/B testing strategies.
• Strong desire for achieving operational excellence through SVPG methodologies.

Desirables

• Employ a data-driven approach for prioritisation, feature development using insights, competitor analysis, and user research.
• Familiarity with A/B testing methods.
• Experience with Confluence and JIRA
