Hire Resolve is currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join a manufacturing company based in Pinetown. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for various construction projects. You will be working closely with the project team and clients to gather project specifications, analyze costs, and prepare detailed estimates.

Responsibilities:
- Gather project specifications, including drawings, plans, and other relevant documents
- Analyze costs and prepare accurate estimates for labor, materials, and other project expenses
- Collaborate with the project team and clients to address any questions or concerns regarding the estimates
- Prepare and submit comprehensive and well-organized proposals in a timely manner
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals and negotiate pricing when necessary
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing
- Assist with project budgeting and cost management throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- National Diploma in Cost amp; Management Accounting - NQF level 6
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a finance/accounting/analytical role, in the manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of construction methods, processes, and materials
- Proficient in estimating software and tools
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Professional certification or qualification in Estimating or a related field is preferred
