Hire Resolve is currently looking for a skilled Fitter/Millwright to join a well-established food manufacturing company in Johannesburg. As a Fitter/Millwright, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment in the food production process. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance to identify potential problems
- Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
Requirements
- Relevant trade qualification as a Fitter/Millwright
- Proven experience working in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
