Construction Manager

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a Construction Manager on behalf of our client, an Engineering Construction company based in Johannesburg. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

• Manage and oversee all phases of the construction project, from planning to completion
• Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of the project
• Monitor and enforce adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Manage project budget and track expenses
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Construction Manager in the engineering construction industry
• B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in project management software and tools
