RPO Recruitment is working with a leading engineering consulting company based in Cape Town to find a skilled and dedicated Civil Technician to join their team. As a Civil Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting various civil engineering projects and assisting the engineering team in delivering high-quality solutions to clients.

• Assist in the design and preparation of civil engineering plans, drawings, and specifications
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess project feasibility
• Perform calculations and analysis to support design decisions
• Assist in the coordination and management of construction projects
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to achieve project objectives

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Previous experience as a Civil Technician or similar role
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Good understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Valid driver's license
