Job Description
RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a talented Fire Engineer to join our client's team. Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is known for their expertise in providing innovative fire engineering solutions. As a Fire Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to ensuring fire safety and protection measures are implemented effectively.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting fire risk assessments, developing fire engineering designs, and providing fire safety recommendations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality fire engineering solutions that comply with relevant codes and standards.
- Conduct fire risk assessments and analyze fire hazards
- Develop fire engineering designs, including fire detection and suppression systems
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure fire safety requirements are incorporated into project designs
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in fire engineering
Requirements
- BTech/BEng in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the mechanical building services environment
- Minimum 5 years' experience in SANS
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations and codes
- Proficiency in fire engineering software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
