Job Description

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineering Technologist to join our client's team. As an Electrical Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing electrical systems and components. You will work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure the successful completion of projects and the delivery of high-quality electrical solutions. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop electrical specifications and requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to optimize electrical system performance.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and project teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineering Technologist.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and CAD tools.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience with testing and troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Professional certification is a plus.
