Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement mine plans
• Oversee mining operations, ensuring safety and efficiency
• Manage a team of mining professionals
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize resource utilization
• Monitor and assess operational performance
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
• Manage budgeting and cost control

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
• Mine Managers Certificate
• Registered with ECSA
• At least 5 years' experience as a Mine Manager
• 10 years' experience within a hard rock mining environment
• Strong leadership and managerial skills
• Excellent knowledge of mining operations and regulations
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
