As an Electrical Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical drawings and schematics, collaborating with engineers and other team members, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using AutoCAD and other drafting software
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and refine electrical designs
- Attend coordination meetings to discuss project progress and coordinate design efforts
- Liaise with project teams to gather necessary information and provide updates on drafting progress
- Review and revise drawings as necessary to incorporate feedback and changes
- Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and other documentation to support procurement and construction activities
- Participate in design reviews and meetings to communicate progress and identify potential issues
- Stay current with advancements in drafting software to enhance drafting capabilities
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
- Knowledge of electrical design principles and standards
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in electrical drafting is preferred
