Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Sub Agent to join their client's team. As a Sub Agent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed successfully and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Agent in managing and supervising construction sites
- Contribute to project planning and programming by assessing and analyzing operational performance, processes, and resources with the goal of improving production
- Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders including architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is being carried out according to schedule
- Manage and report on project finances, including cost control and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Attend site meetings and provide regular updates to the Site Agent and project team
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or relevant degree in civil engineering
- Registration with ECSA or SACPCMP
- Minimum 5 year contracting experience on construction sites
- Previous experience as a Sub Agent or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of Labour and the management of people in a construction site environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
