Hire Resolve is currently looking for a skilled Test Analyst to join our client's team. As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through comprehensive testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design test plans.
- Conduct various types of testing (functional, regression, performance, etc.) to validate software functionality and performance.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios.
- Document and track software defects and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate test results and provide recommendations.
- Identify potential risks and propose solutions or mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Test Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with test automation tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
