• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
• Perform audits and assessments of internal controls
• Assist with general accounting tasks including reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc assignments as required
• Understand and apply accounting principles and standards
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues

Requirements

• BCom degree in Accounting or related field
• Studying towards qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Strong academic record, with a focus on accounting and finance courses
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous accounting or finance internship experience is a plus
