Hire Resolve's Client is currently seeking a Credit Analyst to join their team in Durban. The company is a leading financial institution with a strong presence in the Banking industry. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of potential clients and making informed recommendations based on your analysis.
Responsibilities
- Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the creditworthiness of potential clients
- Assess risks associated with credit and loan transactions and propose strategies to mitigate those risks
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and make informed recommendations based on findings
- Monitor the credit portfolio and proactively identify potential issues or risks
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and ensure accurate credit assessments
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in credit analysis
- Provide credit analysis expertise and support to other departments within the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in credit analysis or a similar role
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in using credit analysis tools and software
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
