Job Description

RPO Recruitment's client is seeking a Wealth Manager to join their clients team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial portfolios of high-net-worth individuals and providing investment advice. The main objective of this role it to service existing clients, including but not limited to portfolio reviews, income sustainability reporting, general queries and maintaining relationships with clients. You must have a full understanding of investment products, legislative requirements relating to investments and retirement, as well as tax in the context of financial planning.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the portfolios of high-net-worth clients
  • Providing investment advice to clients
  • Conducting market research to analyze financial trends and market conditions
  • Assisting clients with financial planning and estate planning
  • Maintaining relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and trust
  • Monitoring and updating client portfolios to ensure compliance with investment goals and objectives
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Prepare reviews for clients as per the required frequency indicated on the CRM.
  • Ensure portfolio reviews are prepared within the required SLA timeframes.
  • Reviews should be accurate and in the correct format and design.
  • All reviews to be captured on the CRM management system in the prescribed expectations.
  • Reviews to be discussed with clients and feedback to be captured on the CRM.
  • Review client Wills annually

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning
  • CFP (Certified Financial Planner)
  • Regulatory Examination (RE5) (Completed)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management or closely related field
  • Knowledge of investment strategies and financial planning techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with relevant software and technology tools, such as Excel and financial planning software.
