Hire Resolve, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their clients team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with accounting and auditing standards, and providing strategic guidance to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting
- Review financial statements and assess compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Identify and communicate financial and operational risks to clients
- Provide technical guidance and support to audit team members
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging best practices in auditing
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or similar certification
- Registered Auditor advantageous
- Minimum 4-5 years post articles experience in Audit amp; looking to develop a long term career in Audit.
- Progression would be from audit manager to audit partner in the short/medium term.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
