Job Description
RPO Recruitment is currently looking for a Key Account Manager to join our client in the Packaging Industry based in Cape Town. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts in the packaging industry, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet business objectives. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the packaging industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in key account management.
Responsibilities:- Manage and develop key accounts in the packaging industry
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth
- Understand customer needs and provide effective solutions
- Develop account plans and strategies for key customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts
- Meet sales targets and budget requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in key account management in the packaging industry
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or relevant
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of packaging materials, products, and manufacturing processes
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
