Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies and regulations
- Identify gaps, risks, and control weaknesses and recommend practical solutions to improve processes and mitigate risks
- Prepare audit workpapers and reports to document findings and recommendations
- Work closely with management and key stakeholders to implement and monitor corrective action plans
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry best practices
- Provide guidance and support to junior auditors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certifications such as CIA or CISA preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in internal auditing
- Thorough understanding of internal auditing standards, principles, and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in using auditing software and tools
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct
