Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Civil Draughtsman to join their Client's team in Durban.
Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive drawings and plans for diverse civil engineering projects.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and team members to ensure the accuracy and timely completion of project drawings.
- Conduct thorough reviews and revisions of drawings to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior draughtsmen, fostering their growth in the field.
- Participate in on-site visits and surveys to gather essential data for project drawings.
- Ensure strict adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards in civil engineering.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proven track record as a Civil Draughtsman, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in civil engineering design and drafting.
- Demonstrated management experience of at least 4 years.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Ability to create 3D presentations and utilize GIS output effectively.
- Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to challenges.
