Hire Resolve is partnering with a leading company in the heavy manufacturing/mining industry to hire a Senior Bookkeeper. As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for the financial management and bookkeeping tasks within the organisation. You will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records for the company.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers
- Prepare and review financial statements, including trial balances and balance sheets
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow projections
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping.
- 3 - 5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the heavy manufacturing/mining industry
- Accounting Package Proficiency - Sage, XERO, Pastel
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong code of ethics
- Own transport essential
