Role: Weapons Marking Specialist
Salary Range: 40,000 - 50,000, dependant on experience
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Global. Split between HALO programmes, mostly in the Great Lakes region, and working remotely from the candidate’s home country
Coordination: The role holder must coordinate closely with the Capability Group in developing training and technical standards

About the role:The HALO Trust requires a Weapons Marking Specialist to support the development of its Weapons and Ammunition Management (WAM) programmes. Working to the Head of WAM Capability, the successful candidate will provide technical support to new project development and to existing WAM projects, including the delivery and support of SALW marking activities.
The Weapons Marking Specialist will support the development of technical standards for SALW marking training and delivery, under the direction of the Director of WAM. They will provide critical technical oversight and support to developing projects, as well as work with the Director of WAM to standardise marking project delivery.
The Weapons Marking Specialist would serve as the focal point for all SALW marking technical support on developing projects. At the direction of programme management, the Weapons Marking Specialist will provide technical support to existing programmes.
