Hire Resolve’s client in the Sand Production Industry is currently seeking a skilled Fleet Manager to join their team. The position will be based in the company's office in Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
- Dispatch loads to clients
- Experience with high volume work
- Oversee and manage the company's fleet of vehicles
- Develop and implement fleet maintenance and management programs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant permits, licenses, and safety requirements
- Monitor and track vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs
- Coordinate with service providers for vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Manage and optimize fuel consumption and route planning
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials to customers
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the fleet operations
- Supervise and train fleet personnel
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Requirements
- Age 35 - 42
- Code 14 drivers ( preferable)
- Experience in driving trucks
- Qualified diesel mechanic (advantageous)
- Experience in fixing trucks / truck maintenance
- Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role
- Knowledge of fleet management software
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel as needed
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices
