Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pr Eng IPP Project Developer and Manager to join a leading company based in Cape Town. As the Pr Eng IPP Project Developer and Manager, you will be responsible for the development, execution, and management of renewable energy projects.
Requirements
- Minimum BSc or BTech in Electrical Engineering
- 1 - 3 years of design experience in a work environment
- Minimum of 3 years in a management position
- Experience in renewables
- Microgrid experience required
- Project development experience required
- IPP project development and implementation (added advantage)
- Must be registered with Engineering Council of South Africa (Pr. Eng)
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in producing designs using CAD software (AutoCAD and Microgrids).
- Ability to design solar plants using Helioscope or similar PV design systems.
- Skill in preparing and managing project budgets and cash flow.
- Capability to produce detailed quotes and Bills of Quantities (BoQ) with precision.
- Familiarity with Eskom standards and processes.
- Experience in HV, MV, and LV installations.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting proposals.
- Ability to generate Project BoQ.
- Competence in procuring equipment.
- Capability to manage the implementation of small and utility-scale projects.
- Aptitude to be away from home for extended periods of time for projects.Strong problem-solving skills.e for developing Utility Scale projects.
- Knowledge of South African Engineering standards.
- Understanding of the OHS Act.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ownership of a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel.

Benefits
- Salary: R40 000 - R65 000 per month
