Our client, a leading Insurance company specializing in the short-term insurance, is currently seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join their team in Centurion. In this role, you will conduct risk analyses and use statistical models to predict potential investment outcomes. You will provide valuable insights and recommendations to help our clients make informed decisions and minimize financial risks. Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analysis
- Develop and maintain statistical models to predict investment outcomes
- Provide recommendations for investments with the highest potential profits and lowest risks
- Evaluate financial status after investments and compare with forecasts
- Monitor market trends and identify new investment opportunities
- Create policies and guidelines to minimize high-risk investments
- Maintain accurate records of payments, fundings, and underwriting policies
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Actuarial Analyst or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of actuarial formulas, tables, and statistical packages
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good understanding of insurance legislation
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field
- Additional certifications in Risk Management or actuarial exams are advantageous
