As a Product Manager in the Food and Beverage Manufacturing industry, you will play a vital role in managing and growing the company's product portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Ramp;D, marketing, and sales, to develop and implement strategies to meet market demands, drive product innovation, and maximize profitability. Your expertise in the Food and Beverage manufacturing industry, combined with strong analytical and leadership skills, will be essential in driving the success of the company's products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps to meet market demands and achieve business objectives
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation, including product development, packaging design, and pricing strategies
- Manage the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch evaluation
- Monitor and analyze product performance, including sales, market share, and customer feedback
- Identify opportunities for product improvements or line extensions based on market insights and customer feedback
- Lead and manage a team of product specialists or coordinators
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective product marketing strategies and campaigns
- Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure timely and quality product delivery
- Global role: Develop and implement a vibrant, innovative and economically sustainable B2B product portfolio with a corresponding portfolio strategy and clear positioning (USP) for the product group in area of responsibility based on the global business unit strategy
- Regional Role: Create a regional assortment within the assigned B2B level, including the applicable assortment classes.
- Be trained by global PM.
- Follow the global BU strategy.
- Same responsibilities like global but just regional
Requirements
- BSc Food Science/ND or BTech in Food Technology/ BCom in Economics, with background in nutrition
- Minimum 4 years previous work experience in the Food and Beverage, Pharma or Health Industries in a B2B OR B2C Product Management position
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in the Food and Beverage Manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of the Food and Beverage market, including industry trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory requirements
- Technical understanding of Botanical products in final applications (like Food amp; Beverage,
- Health Supplements or Pharma products).
- Ramp;D experience on the formulation of Botanical Extracts-related applications will be advantageous.
- Management of the Botanical Extracts product portfolio and willingness to travel internationally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Experience in SAP will be advantageous.
- Attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Focus on customer needs and experienced in bringing ideas to life via product creation.
- Nutritional knowledge and understanding.
- Market- and Product understanding of the Health and LSamp;N Industry.
- Creative thinker
- Strong team player, but also able to operate independently by driving initiative
- Willingness to travel as required
