As the Supervisor Mobile Equipment, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of mobile equipment in the mining industry. This includes managing a team of operators, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and serviced, and implementing safety protocols to minimize accidents and injuries. You will also collaborate with other departments to coordinate equipment usage and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent

• Engineering Technical Trade Test in Diesel Mechanic, Auto Electrician, or Millwright (MQA preferred)
• Engineering Technical Theoretical Certificate N3
• Supervisory Certificate
• Minimum of 5 years operational mobile equipment experience in a mining maintenance environment
• Minimum of 2 years team/project leader/supervisory experience in a mining maintenance environment
• Valid Driver's License (Code B/EB)
• Medically Fit and meet the required standards

Equipment Knowledge:

• CAT 789C and D dump truck
• CAT 777D and G water bowsers
• Komatsu 730-10
• Mobile compressors, generators, and lighting plants

• Functional knowledge in mobile equipment maintenance

• Statutory knowledge in mining regulations and safety protocols
