Duke CE, a global leader, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager of Business Development to join our team. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for proactively generating new business prospects in your assigned region, ensuring a responsive approach to client inquiries, and contributing to the continued success of the Duke CE brand through business initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the proposal process for the assigned region, responding to requests for proposals and engaging target companies.
- Identify, build, and manage relationships with potential clients.
- Support internal commercial success at Duke CE by coordinating with client teams and faculty, ensuring seamless transitions of successful business development efforts.
- Represent Duke CE at conferences and public events, enhancing our brand and engaging with prospects and existing clients.
- Maintain an organized network of active and potential clients, initiating sales and marketing calls to build lasting relationships.
- Arrange meetings with key individuals from prospective clients to understand their needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends and research potential industries for Duke CE outreach.
- Ensure compliance with Dynamics 365 (D365), including updating prospects and activities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business development, consulting, or human capital.
- Proven sales experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
