Welcome to RPO Recruitment! We are currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our client in the Packaging Industry's team in uMhlanga, Durban. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the maintenance department in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of packaging machinery and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for maintenance and a friendly, can-do attitude to contribute to a dynamic team environment.
Requirements
- To excel in this role, you should have a positive and friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
- 2+ years of sales experience on rewinding machines or machines of a of a similar nature
- Computer literacy. (Windows)
- Code B Drivers license.
- Previous experience in a maintenance or technical support role within the packaging industry would be a plus.
- Other requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
