As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer with a keen and concise creative eye to join our creative Marketing team and contribute to the development of excellent marketing and brand designs that speak to this vision.

The ideal candidate would have a strong portfolio showcasing an understanding of various content across different channels, with a focus on Marketing applications such as Social Media, Newsletters, Communication and Brand applications. The successful candidate will work with the Marketing team to conceptualise and execute compelling designs that align with our brand identity and resonate with our target audience. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining the set standard of the brand’s visual identity across all its verticals and touchpoints of its double-sided market.

Responsibilities1. Digital, Print amp; Brand Design:
  • Create engaging and user-centric designs for digital platforms, including but not limited to websites, social media, and email campaigns from design briefs.
  • Develop print collateral and merchandise such as brochures, flyers, and promotional materials.
  • Be involved in the creation of all of the elements for the double-sided market journey that JOBJACK takes both Job Seekers and Employers on.
2. Branding and Identity:
  • Contribute to the growth and maintenance of brand guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency and coherence of design elements across all brand touch points.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure that all content adheres to the aforementioned guidelines.
  • Ensure that there is a dynamic translation from the brand guidelines to creative execution of elements across internal departments, but also across various channels and mediums.
3. Design Development:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and contribute creative ideas.
  • Create visually appealing mood boards and campaign concepts that align with the project vision.
  • Translate concepts and ideas into visually appealing designs across various mediums and channels.
  • Contribute to trend forecasts to identify up-and-coming design trends that could be impactful.
4. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Product designers, Marketers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Provide constructive feedback and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
5. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all designs meet high-quality standards and align with brand guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough reviews to identify and address any design inconsistencies or errors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of professional design experience, preferably in a multi-channel marketing department that focused on many different types of content.
  • An understanding of design-focused Marketing, for example, Social Media and how people interact with visual elements across different channels.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing an understanding of a variety of content across different channels, with a focus on Marketing applications such as Social Media, Newsletters, Communication and Brand applications.
  • A passion for design and brand stories and the role it plays in the perception of a company.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a record of conceptualising and executing compelling designs that align with brand identity and resonate with an identified target audience.
  • Previous experience in Figma is a nice to have.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of current design trends and a passion for staying updated in the field.
  • Strong understanding of design principles and current design trends
