Overview

TEN Lifestyle Group became a public company (AIM listed) in the UK in November 2017. A key part of supporting this continuing growth in the business is to digitalise Finance to make it fit for the future and develop best in class processes, systems and controls that we can leverage.

TEN are looking for a confident, committed, people centric candidate with strong finance systems experience. You will be a key part of the team responsible maintaining the financial system and other relevant systems (e.g. Travel booking / payment systems) to help enhance and support the Group’s current financial systems environment.

You will work with people within the financial department across all regions and other stakeholders in the business across the globe.

You are the perfect candidate if you have an affinity for accounting and technology and how this can be used to make the finance function more efficient. Trying to ideate best practices by making use of technology and implementing these across the group within the finance other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Current financial system eco system integrity and changes across group
  • Maintain Merchant Accounts, manage relationship with external account managers, be the point of contact on new merchant projects
  • Generate Reports on merchant activity, troubleshoot payment methods and find solutions for new payment methods
  • Maintain finance related functions on internal platforms
  • Be point of contact for other departments on Merchant issues, queries
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert and Super User for systems used in Finance Department, solutions and best practices.
  • Triage and trouble-shoot Finance systems requests; signpost resources to encourage self-service; help Finance teams navigate change processes.
  • Monitor and track Finance requests and incidents, identifying trends and root causes
  • Develop plans for remediation of repeat issues, and work closely with Finance and other functional teams to deliver in an appropriate timeframe.
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures online with SharePoint
  • Partner with Finance teams to understand their system needs - whether pain points causing inefficiencies, or future needs due to changing business requirements
  • Develop resources and deliver teach-ins to address knowledge gaps across Finance, including the evolution of a super user network.
  • Assist in on-boarding and training new staff on Financial Systems Eco System
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with primarily Technology, Product and IT to understand the development roadmap pipeline, and assess any impacts on core Finance systems
  • Communicate progress updates to relevant parties both formally and informally, internally and externally.
  • Ongoing commitment to continuous professional development; completing relevant certifications in a timely manne
