Hire Resolve's client, a reputable renewable energy company, is seeking a skilled Solar PV Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Cape Town. The Solar PV Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management and successful implementation of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage solar PV projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Ensure quality control during project installations and overseeing Health and Safety obligations.
- Manage project contracts, including procurement and contract negotiations.
- Manage project timelines and providing comprehensive progress updates.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain relationships with clients, addressing and resolving any project-related concerns or issues.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in solar PV technology and take part in business development discussions.
Requirements
- National Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering fields.
- Eligibility to register with Engineering Council of South Africa.
- Experience in the power or renewable energy industry would be beneficial.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work with a team.
