Thompsons Travel (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for a self-motivated, vibrant, and energetic SeniorProject Manager in our Thompsons Meetings and Incentives (TMI) Department in Johannesburg. The successful candidate must have previous experience of 5-10 years in organizing of events, conferences, corporate breakaways, incentives and launches. To fulfil group requirements for clients professionally.
Key Performance Areas
· Handling all administration, execute own events and reconciling accounts.
· Achieving client satisfaction and understanding their requirements
· Maintain high levels of quality and productivity by managing workload and meeting deadlines.
· Ability to meet personal targets and be a great team player
Requirements
· Organizational skills, attention to detail, good geographical knowledge and interpersonal skills, as well as being able to
cope under pressure.
· The candidate must hold strong relationships with a Destination Management Companies (DMC’s) both locally and
internationally.
· The candidate must have the ability to research and suggest exciting destination properties as well as creative
destination ideas.
· Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours.
· Ability to travel with clients both domestically, regionally, and internationally.
· Valid Passport
· MS Office literacy essential
· Presentation skills essential
· Own Transport is preferable.
