Hire Resolve’s client in the Food Manufacturing Industry is actively seeking for the expertise of an experienced Maintenance Manager in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- To plan, coordinate and implement all repairs and maintenance activities for the Processing Facility within the constructs of Occupational Health amp; Safety Regulations; and oversee the day-to-day performance of the Maintenance team.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Manage all repairs and maintenance (preventative and emergency) activities and projects on brief, on budget and on time
- Staff Management
- Financial management, budgeting and due diligence regarding spending
- Procurement, stores amp; stock control, using a modern project management program
- Site compliance
- Fleet maintenance
- Maintenance of security systems
- Reporting
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Technical)
- Proven technical experience
- 3 years’ managerial experience in preferably a Food Processing environment
- Effective knowledge of machines and techniques used in food processing environment
- Good written and oral communication skills with fluency in English and ability to write reports
- Computer literacy (intermediate) in MS Office and Google Suite software packages
- Project management and leadership skills
- Physically fit and willingness to work in outdoor conditions
- Be willing to work overtime (incl. standby and call-out duties) and have 24/7 availability
- Driver’s license and own reliable transport
