Participates in all accounts receivable related activities. Reconciling and allocating of all payments made to various accounts. The individual will also create invoices according to company practices and submit them for approval by Line Manager all the while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Maintaining a clean age analysis by assuring all payments are receipted and allocated. Attending to queries in a timeous manner by adhering to the service level agreed timelines.
Responsibilities
·Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for travel retainer services.
·Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
·Processing and recording transactions.
·Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
·Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts
receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
·Working with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better
repayment terms.
·Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing
paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts, chasing payments on overdue accounts.
·Generating reports and statements for internal use.
·Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
·Maintaining the billing system.
·Generating invoices and account statements.
·Performing account reconciliations.
·Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.
•Producing monthly aging for management oversight.
Requirements
·Grade 12 (essential)
·Understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices
·Proven ability to calculate and manage accounting figures.
·Data entry skills along with knowledge for numbers and high level of accuracy and attention to detail
·An Accounting Diploma qualification highly preferable
·Previous experience in accounting, such as a Creditors Clerk or Debtors Clerk
· Quicktrav experience beneficial.
·Change management skilled in working at a fast pace in stressful situations.
·Skilled in time management and multitasking proven track record in meeting deadlines.
·A great team player who is also able to work independently.
·Always willing to learn.

·Strong organisational skills
